聚财万贯
事业有成
子孙满堂
但死后
一切转眼成空

生不带来,死不带去

何不两袖清风

Was feeling bored, so thought should pen down some of my thoughts after looking at some people's nicks. Sometimes I just think: If living our lives was for some objective, what? To construct some historical, 千垂不朽 achievement? To earn all the money in this universe? Or just living to die?

Well, I am not in the position to say what each of us should look forward to or wad goals we should set for ourselves. What I think myself is that (okay, its basically slighted more towards the Chinese philosophies and beliefs) Life, in the end, is simply death. Dust to dust, ashes to ashes. Whatever bloody achievements or successes or even money you have earned in the end will just be washed away in the giant current of time. Nothing stands strong against time. Rather than wasting my time seeking these kinda materialistic stuff, I thought I should look out for more of things like the true essence of life.

Some philosophers believe that death leads to another new initiation of life. Not realli literally, but i think it means that when something dies, somewhre near him or close to him, its the start of another new life. And that could be quite true. Well, you see, when plants die, their remains serve to fertilise their next generation. When people die, they 'usually' have already reproduced like 2 or 3 generations.

生死非两个极端

乃是息息相关

Okay, maybe the above seems dang crappy..but its my outlook on life. Maybe thats why i wanna be a teacher..average pay, average working time, BUT definitely not an average job. A teacher carries much more responsibilities than we think. But what matters, i think, will not be what we get, but what we pass down, the legacy we leave after we die. Seeking personal success, in the end, benefits no one but your own generation. Being a teacher, in contrast, helps much more people than we can imagine. And to kope something from our recent compre,

Innocence

Innocence stolen without my permission
Innocence gone without my submission

Innocence lost through another’s plan
Innocence no longer for another man

Innocence turned to hatred and fear
Innocence gone, no man can come near

Innocence taken from a little girl’s heart
Innocence replaced by mistrust, you thought you were smart

Innocence disappears like dew in the sun
Innocence faded before it’s begun

Innocence obscured like a cloud over the moon
Innocence ripped away too soon
